Outpatient implant service
People are able to access our naltrexone implant service if they are opiate-free, no matter how they did their detox. The naltrexone implant will provide opiate blocking cover for 3 months at a time to help with individual's recovery from addcition. Many people prefer the security of having repeat implants rather than taking a daily tablet.
We will assess a client’s physical, mental and social health to make sure the implants will be most effective for them. We will test their urine for heroin, methadone, subutex and any other opiates before we are safe to complete the procedure.
As a company we have done over 1,500 implant procedures, on service users recovering from addiction to a variety of opiates including; heroin, methadone and codeine.
The price for an implant procedure is £750, a £150 non-returnable deposit will secure a place within our outpatient clinic.
We recommend that clients take naltrexone for 12 months following detoxification.
