Our Hospital

The Detox 5 addiction treatment centre is based at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate in North Yorkshire. Detox 5 is part of Cygnet Health Care, a nationwide network of mental health hospitals. Established in 1988, Cygnet Health Care is Britain's second largest independent provider of mental health services and the largest outsourced provider to the NHS.

Cygnet Health Care employs more than 1,000 nurses and more than 100 psychiatrists. We aim to provide excellent, affordable and personalised psychiatric services to those who have entrusted themselves to our care.

Founded in 1989, Cygnet Hospital Harrogate, is set in pleasant, leafy grounds which patients find conducive to their recovery from addiction. The hospital provides both inpatient and outpatient care and has recently been refurbished.

Every patient benefits from a private en-suite bedroom with television. All meals are provided. During the detox programme, you will have constant supervision from our clinical team, ensuring your security and well-being. Cygnet Hospital Harrogate is recognised by most private medical insurers.
