Our Clinic

While you're having treatment with us you will remain on site here, within the confines of the Cygnet Hospital Harrogate. You can be assured of privacy in your own en-suite room under the supervision of our clinical staff; your bedroom door will remain open through the initial sedation phase of treatment for your security and well-being, although it is unlikely that you will be aware of this.

While at Detox 5 you will also have access to some of the comforts of home that will minimise any displeasure during your stay. There is a colour television in your room, and a media suite for you when you are in the latter stages of your treatment. Meals will be provided for you during your stay, although you should be aware that we do not offer a full catering service for friends and family.

We ask you to bring

• Two or three changes of comfortable daywear
• Plenty of changes of night clothes and underwear
• Your basic preferred toiletries
• Books, iPod, magazines etc.

We ask you NOT to bring:

• Money
• Mobile phones
• Valuable items of jewellery or watches
• Food or drink (all meals and snacks will be provided)
• Drugs

*We operate a non-smoking policy inside our buildings, in line with government legislation.
