Detox 5 Extra

Detox 5 Extra is a drug rehabilitation programme designed for those who have additional problems to opiate addiction. These may be another addiction or underlying mental health problems.

Often times, those who are suffering from addiction may have mental health issues that have been left undiagnosed for years. However, our programme can effectively identify these issues. After careful assessment we plan a programme that offers both physical and psychological assistance. Treatment is after the opiate detoxification. This can take place at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate or we can arrange treatment at one of Cygnet Health Care's other hospitals in London or Kent.

If your addiction is with alcohol in particular, we can offer our START (Strategies and Treatment for Alcohol Rehabilitation and Therapy) alcohol programme.

With every treatment, our drug rehabilitation center will manage physical withdrawal symptoms and add psychological support. This involves one-to-one sessions with a named nurse and group meetings which tackle common issues, e.g. coping with anxiety.
