Detox 5 Extra

Sometimes you need just a little more help. Detox 5 Extra is a programme designed for you if you are in a situation of physical or psychiatric health that has been aggravated or caused by opiate addiction.

We will look at your personal circumstances, and identify some of the details of your addictions and lifestyle before commencing treatment. Then, we will provide a treatment that offers both physical and psychological assistance; it's an extended programme. Treatment is made available for 7-14 days after detoxification, either here at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate on our Haven Ward, or we can arrange treatment at one of Cygnet Health Care's other private treatment centres located in London or Kent. Beyond the intensive initial phases and immediate additional aftercare designed for your personal circumstances, we will work together to find the ideal psychological therapy programme for you.

With every treatment, your physical withdrawal symptoms will be managed during the initial phases, and then complimented by encouragement and advice on leading a generally healthier lifestyle afterwards. This will involve one-to-one counselling, and possibly some group therapy; goal setting, stress management and strategies for simply 'coping' are all a vital part of eliminating your combined addictions.
