Returning Home

Our 5-day treatment programme is the first phase in your recovery and new opiate-free life. The first few weeks after drug recovery and detox can be tough. We at Detox 5 are here for you during this critical time.

Prior to your discharge, we will conduct an in-depth briefing with you and your supervisor to ensure that you understand the physical and psychological symptoms you may experience after detoxing. This briefing will prepare you both for the days that follow. We will also explain the benefits of using naltrexone implants which play a major role in your recovery.

Aftercare Telephone Support

We offer free aftercare telephone support, provided by a trained member of the clinical team for the first 12 weeks after discharge. A trained nurse will contact you weekly, or more frequently if you prefer, to discuss your progress as well as any problems you may have.

24/7/365 Helpline

If issues arise after 12 weeks, you are not alone. Our drug treatment offers a 24-hour helpline for all our ex-patients and their families. This helpline will take you directly to a member of our trained clinical staff. All former patients and their supervisors are welcome to call us, no matter how long ago they detoxed.
